Description

Stationary aspirators are medical equipment designed to remove fluids from various body cavities. They play a key role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of many medical procedures, including surgical interventions, dental care, gynecological and obstetric procedures, and newborn care.

Stationary aspirators operate by creating negative pressure, which allows fluids to be efficiently removed from the body. This is achieved using special catheters through which the fluid flows into the aspirator’s collection canister.

Specifications of stationary aspirators include various collection canister volumes, suction power, and the presence or absence of antibacterial filters. Filters play an important role in preventing the spread of infection, which is especially relevant in operating rooms and maternity wards.

Stationary aspirators are used across a wide range of medical procedures. They are used for fetal extraction, postpartum uterine evacuation, removal of blood, purulent discharge, and other biological fluids during surgery, postoperative drainage, foreign body removal, rehabilitation after tracheostomy, clearing the upper airways of sputum in patients with impaired cough reflex, and emergency care. In pediatrics, stationary aspirators are used for nasal cavity clearance in infants and other procedures requiring rapid, effective fluid removal.
