Description
A device for automated chest compressions during Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Used at all stages of emergency medical care. Automatically adapts to each patient's chest in real time. Enables continuous, effective CPR in any patient position during transport. Comes with a purpose-built backpack for storage, battery-charge monitoring, and quick deployment.
The LUCAS 3 chest compression system improves the safety of medical staff performing CPR during transport. It allows clinicians to keep their distance when resuscitating patients with infectious diseases, and reduces fatigue and the risk of injury to staff during prolonged resuscitation efforts.
It reduces the stress of resuscitation efforts and lets staff focus on treating the underlying condition. It makes better use of available resources by freeing the clinician's hands. The device provides visual and audible signals, manages pauses for CPR, and supplies data for post-event analysis of resuscitation sessions.
Key Advantages
- - The device features a color monitor and convenient control buttons, making resuscitation as simple and intuitive as possible even for inexperienced users;
- - The user can adjust compression depth and rate according to each patient's individual needs, increasing the effectiveness of resuscitation efforts;
- - After every 100 compressions, the device automatically checks the compression pad's position on the patient's chest and adjusts pressure if needed, minimizing the risk of errors and improving procedure accuracy;
- - The compression pads used by the device are reusable and can be easily disinfected, reducing consumable costs and simplifying equipment maintenance;
- - The device comes with a carry bag or backpack for transport, making it convenient for use in a variety of settings, including field conditions;
- - The device base is made of a radiolucent material, allowing necessary diagnostic imaging without moving the patient or removing the device.
